New thematic display: “Gardens”
This installation will feature a magnificent 18th-century Persian carpet and exquisite glass birds, the work of contemporary Turkish artist Felekşan Onar, in the Art of Islamic Lands gallery 2550. Related paintings from South Asia will be displayed in gallery 2590. The current “Water” themed rotation will close soon, and if you have not seen it yet, please come before October 27.
